About Paul Karcz

Paul Karcz is an American-born composer, producer and performer with roots in the Midwest and his hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. With a musical background and love for the hard rock genre, Karcz enjoyed numerous years of success with his nationally recognized and multiple award winning band Spiral Trance throughout the 90's and 2000's.

Karcz first entered into the world of film score music with a chance meeting and a thirty second promotional piece for regional graphics animation creator Andrew Goodwin and the company Racing Snail. Soon after, he began a collaboration with producer/ director Rubin Whitmore II on the feature films Walk Away From Love and Professor Mack. Building on the success of these two films, more work followed, including a win at the Indie Gathering International Film Festival and his trailer score for Roman Citizen. With his career gaining momentum, Karcz formed his company Northern Score and teamed up with award winning filmmaker Jimmy Sammarco and his company Foundation Films to score his current documentary feature, "You're Not Alone - The Story Of The 5.50.50" along with several video shorts. Further work included promotional pieces for Sammarco's latest project, and viral video,, "Ashlin's Music Video - Best Time Ever" for the Make-A-Wish Foundation among others.

Karcz is a four-time Wisconsin Area Music Industry Award winner, an Indie Gathering International Film Fest winner, a two-time ASCAP Grammy Showcase winner, a UK Songwriting Contest finalist and a two-time Los Angeles Music Awards nominee.
